Easy to follow instructions are below.

Apparatus required.

1. Bathroom scales.

2. Twin Shock,Pre-65 or Mono Trials bike.

3. Level piece of ground.

Method.

1. Zero scales, normally on analogue scales, there is a small knurled knob underneath, to zero reading.

2. Roll aforementioned machine on to scales. Make sure that front or rear wheel spindle is directly over centre pad on scales.

3. Record reading on scales.

4. Repeat steps 2, 3, above, weighing opposite end of bike,again recording the result.To be consistent and enable us all to compare, please use Kilogram scale, not Imperial Lbs.Please note. 1kg = 2.2 Lbs.

5. Make sure there is no mud from tyres on scales, as you sneak them back into bathroom !

Data Analysis and reporting.

6. Email me , the resultant front and rear readings,stating year and model of bike, and any other relevant comments. I am assuming that the bike is clean, has a small amount of fuel in the tank.With your permission, I will add your submission, to the table of data.
